Our vision is to provide a learning community where all faculty, students, and families feel respected, loved, and encouraged to become the best individual they can be. Our vision is the backbone of our business, supporting children to develop into their fullest and greatest potential.
Our values consist of the following but are not limited to:
· Quality- We believe that every single child deserves excellence in early learning educational programs and services to make a difference not just in their lives, but the lives of their families and the community.
· Inclusion- We value the inclusion of all our faculty, families, students, and their learning environment. We make proper adaptations to be able to make learning fun for every student who attends. Within this environment, we also teach the values of family and teamwork. The combined action of both the educators and the families working together provides an effective and efficient working relationship. By acting together as a team, we are working toward the best interests of our common cause, the children.
· Responsibility- Everyone has something that they are responsible for. We believe that the younger we learn this, the sooner we are comfortable with responsibilities as we grow older. We also believe in teaching the difference between being responsible and being obedient. Responsibility does not come from following instructions. In teaching responsibilities, a child learns many other facets such as dependability, accountability, accepting credit, admitting mistakes, and meeting obligations.
· Accountability- We expect to teach our children how to be accountable. We teach the importance of being honest and building relationships that improve accountability not just with our students, but with their families as well.
· Respect- Respect is a key component of our labor as it helps to optimize the talents and diversity we bring into the school as partners in the child’s growth and development. Respect is essential in building relationships with our students and their families that will last a lifetime. In teaching respect, students also learn boundaries. Creating and maintaining boundaries will help to prevent children not just from becoming bullies, abusers, or predators, but also teach them to form their boundaries so they do not accept these behaviors from those who exhibit them.
· Hard Work- We take time to teach everyone that if you want to be good at something or succeed, then you need to work hard at it. It takes hard work and dedication to achieve your goals. We especially take time to teach that when frustration occurs, then that means they are learning something new. It is only hard because they don’t know how to do it yet, and with time, and practice, it will get easier to be successful at it.
· Effective Communication- to be successful in this world, we believe we must teach effective communication skills. This means that when speaking, we must speak to that person’s level of understanding. This has been a very effective skill we have taught our employees and have adapted these skills into our curriculum to also include in our student's learning.
· Perspective- We value the teaching in understanding the world is not seen from a single view. Every person has different life experiences, and everyone is going to have a different perspective. Just because two people have different perspectives and disagree on something, it does not mean that either person is right or wrong. We teach respecting the perspective of others.
· Independent Thinking- Just because we are taught a certain way, it does not mean that others must think the same way. We strive to come at problems with many solutions so that we can encourage questions from everyone who is a part of Rowdy Rascals and inspire the rise of different opinions. This way of teaching has been proven successful in creating independent thinkers who become leaders in society.
· Emotional Intelligence- While learning emotional regulation, we will teach your child how to rest and identify not just their emotions, but how to express them in a way that others can understand. We do not want your child to suppress their emotions. We want them to learn how to effectively communicate them. By learning this effective life skill, your child will learn how to be successful and happy when being expressive. You will also be able to grow in your relationship with your child who feels confident in themselves when articulating emotional events.
