Director

Program Coordinator

Operations Manager

 

Job Overview:
The Director oversees the entire Rowdy Rascals center, ensuring that all operations run smoothly and efficiently. This leadership role involves managing staff, ensuring compliance with licensing and regulatory requirements, maintaining high standards of childcare, and building strong relationships with parents and families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide overall leadership and direction for the center.
  • Manage staff scheduling, performance reviews, and professional development.
  • Ensure compliance with state regulations and health/safety protocols.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for parents, handling any concerns or inquiries.
  • Oversee the implementation of the Taylor Method and curriculum.
  • Set and maintain high standards for the care, safety, and education of children.

Schedule:

  • Salaried
  • Sets own hours ( there is a minimum).
  • Two weeks of paid time off per year.

Operations Manager

Job Overview:
The Operations Manager assists the Director with the daily operations of the center, helping ensure that everything runs efficiently. This includes staff management, scheduling, maintaining supplies, and ensuring that curriculum implementation is on track.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Director with overall center management.
  • Create staff schedules and ensure appropriate staffing levels.
  • Manage inventory and order necessary supplies for classrooms.
  • Act as a liaison between staff and management to address operational needs.
  • Ensure smooth coordination of daily operations and curriculum implementation.
  • Address any on-site operational issues.


Schedule:

  • 40 hours weekly, must work until close.
  • One week of paid time off per year.

Program Coordinator

Assistant Program Coordinator

 

Job Overview:
The Program Coordinator manages and coordinates all extracurricular activities, special events, and educational enrichment programs. This position also involves direct teaching duties and classroom setup.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and implement extracurricular activities and special events.
  • Ensure enrichment programs are in line with the Taylor Method.
  • Coordinate activities with Lead Teachers to align with the core curriculum.
  • Directly teach and facilitate sessions for different age groups.
  • Ensure that classrooms are prepared for activities and cleaned afterward.

Teaching Schedule:

  • 9:00 am - 10:00 am: Setup
  • 10:00 am - 11:00 am: Teach 18-month to 2½-year-olds & 2½ to 3-year-olds
  • 11:00 am - 12:00 pm: Teach 3–4-year-olds & 4–5-year-olds
  • 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm: Teach 0–12 months & 12–18 months
  • 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm: Cleanup

Schedule:

  • 30 hours weekly (9 am - 3 pm).

Job Overview:
The Assistant Program Coordinator provides support to the Program Coordinator and helps in implementing and supervising enrichment activities. They also assist with the preparation and execution of special events and programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in planning and managing extracurricular activities.
  • Help supervise and coordinate enrichment programs.
  • Support the setup and cleanup of activities.
  • Assist in managing special events and ensuring they run smoothly.


Teaching Schedule:

  • 9:00 am - 10:00 am: Assist Setup
  • 10:00 am - 11:00 am: Help Teach 18-month to 2½-year-olds & 2½ to 3-year-olds
  • 11:00 am - 12:00 pm: Help Teach 3–4-year-olds & 4–5-year-olds
  • 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm: Help Teach 0–12 months & 12–18 months
  • 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm: Assist Cleanup

Schedule:

The Accountant manages all financial aspects of the center, ensuring accurate handling of payroll, billing, and tax filings. This role provides financial oversight to ensure the center’s financial health is maintained.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage payroll and ensure employees are paid accurately and on time.
  • Handle billing and payment processing for families.
  • Maintain accurate financial records, manage expenses, and prepare financial reports.
  • Ensure compliance with tax laws and submit necessary filings.
  • Work closely with the Director and Operations Manager on financial planning and budgeting.


Schedule:

  • Sets own hours, may work remotely.

Administrator

Job Overview:
The Administrator is responsible for the smooth operation of front desk duties, including parent inquiries, managing attendance, and maintaining clear communication between staff, parents, and management.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage front desk operations and greet parents, staff, and visitors.
  • Handle parent inquiries, enrollments, and provide information about the center.
  • Track and record daily attendance of students and staff.
  • Maintain communication between parents and teachers through phone calls, emails, and in-person meetings.
  • Assist the Director and Operations Manager with administrative tasks.


Schedule:

  • Salaried, must open the center.

Lead Teachers are responsible for delivering the Rowdy Rascals curriculum in a classroom setting. They oversee the educational programs, manage the classroom environment, and ensure that each child is engaged and progressing in their learning.

  • Implement and adapt the Taylor Method curriculum to the specific needs of the classroom.
  • Lead classroom activities and foster a supportive, engaging learning environment.
  • Conduct regular assessments of student progress and development.
  • Maintain a safe and organized classroom.
  • Work closely with Assistant Teachers to ensure each child’s individual needs are met.

Schedule:

  • 40 hours weekly (6 am - 2 pm).

Job Overview:
Assistant Teachers support the Lead Teachers in the classroom, helping with hands-on care, managing classroom activities, and ensuring the smooth daily operation of the classroom. They play a key role in nurturing and guiding children in their learning and development.

  • Assist the Lead Teacher in implementing the curriculum.
  • Provide hands-on care and guidance for children during activities.
  • Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom.
  • Support individual students with one-on-one attention as needed.
  • Collaborate with Lead Teachers to ensure the best outcomes for children.

Schedule:

  • 40 hours weekly (10 am - 6 pm).

Helping Hands

Job Overview:
The Helping Hands team supports both Lead and Assistant Teachers in classroom management, hands-on care, and daily activities. They assist with the logistics of the day-to-day operation of the classroom, ensuring children are engaged and cared for.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide hands-on care and help manage classroom activities.
  • Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and safe environment.
  • Support Lead and Assistant Teachers in classroom tasks.
  • Help supervise children during free play and structured activities.
  • Facilitate transitions between activities and provide general assistance as needed.

Schedule:

  • 40 hours weekly (8 am - 4 pm).
